Personal Statement
“Meeting sunrise in three mornings and sunset in three afternoons, torturing by inexplicable mistake, continuing working for 62 hours without rest”，－these descriptions about the four days National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest will become my forever memory. We were not the champion, but the second place was also a great prize for our hard work and a proof of our outstanding creativity among 4662 teams selected from universities all around China. Moreover, the most meaningful thing to me was the experience gained from the contest, which practiced my willpower, enhanced my team spirit and trained my consciousness of liability. With the above gifts gained from the contest, I am fully confident with my ability in my future researches under any kind of pressure.

Why did I have the courage to challenge myself? It was the support not only from my teammates’ trusts, but also from the inspiration of Professor Geng-Sheng Kuo’s words (ex-Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Communications Magazine) in his lecture, “If you are a PHD student, do not consider too much about higher status of life. What drive you is your passion in analyzing and finding the truth, providing creative ideas, helping others to live better”. I still remembered my feelings when hearing that. I was ashamed of my awful performance in my junior year and regretted the idling life, which was far away from my dream.
